The Australian Games Classification has rated Project Pen, an Atlus-developed game, on the 4th of November 2021. The rating claims that the game will be published by Sega of America and the origin is from the USA, where previous titles Atlus were Japan. The rating was also listed “multi platform” media type which means that it is a console game, not a multi-platform title.
The rating classes Project Pen as MA15+ with “strong violence and sexualized imagery”, it also states that the game contains “in-game purchases” which could mean that the game has microtransactions. Persona 5, Persona 5 Royal and the Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster all had day one DLC and none of them had the in-game purchases label.
No other details were revealed, Atlus is scheduled to announce a Persona related project in December 2021 as part of the series’ 25th-anniversary celebrations.
