Remedy Entertainment has announced that Control has been played by over 10 million people worldwide during its quarterly financial report. This doesn’t translate into sales as the game has been available on PlayStation Now, Game Pass, Stadia and Luna. The last sales update was in December 2020 when the game surpassed 2 million copies sold. Remedy Entertainment also announced that it generated over $11.1 million in revenue with a $2.7 million profit both of which are up year-over-year. Remedy Entertainment states that this is thanks to sales from the Epic Games Store and the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series releases of Control Ultimate Edition.
