Jim Ryan, CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, has confirmed that the recent acquisition of Nixxes Software was to assist with the porting of PlayStation Studios’ games to PC. Ryan has also confirmed that the most recent PlayStation ports, Days Gone and Horizon Zero Dawn, are both considered a success on PC. Sony Interactive Entertainment will leverage Nixxes Software to strengthen its multi-platform strategy. Sony Group Corporation has already confirmed that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will come to PC at a Corporate Strategy Meeting earlier this year. Sony Group has also claimed that Housemarque’s Returnal and Insomniac Games’ Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart have both exceeded sales expectations.
