Naoki Yoshida, producer of Final Fantasy XVI, has confirmed that the scenario for the game is nearly complete and that voice recordings, including the English dub, has entered its final stages. Yoshida-san also confirmed that he wants to show the game again when it can “convince everyone to buy the game” and that he’s not holding information back for the sake of it. Yoshida-san was hoping to show more of the game at the Tokyo Game Show 2021 but he doesn’t believe his team will be able to make that deadline so they won’t be showcasing the game at the event.
