FuRyu has announced that Monark will release on the 14th of October 2021 in Japan for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Switch. A Western release has not yet been confirmed. FuRyu also confirmed that Lancarse, developers of the Etrian Odyssey series, will be developing the game.
Monark is a “new school RPG” from former Megami Tensei and Shin Megami Tensei developers, the game follows the True Student Council, a new group tasked with dealing with abnormal circumstances at school. The protagonist will have to choose a companion from four True Student Council to bring an end to the madness.
More details and reveal trailers are scheduled to be released on the 10th of June 2021.
