Kadokawa Games has announced that Metal Max: Wild West has been delayed to 2022 in Japan, the game was originally scheduled to release in 2021. Kadokawa also confirmed that Metal Max: Wild West is a sequel to Metal Max Xeno: Reborn, the game will also follow a new protagonist. A Western release has not yet been confirmed. Metal Max: Wild West is due out on the PlayStation 4 and Switch.
