Square Enix has announced that the PlayStation 5 version of Final Fantasy XIV will be releasing on the 25th of May 2021 after a successful beta period. The PS5 version will launch alongside update 5.55 which updates three quests. The PS5 version of Final Fantasy XIV supports 4K resolution, faster load times, DualSense haptic feedback and 3D audio support.
