Shaun Escayg, creative director and writer of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, has announced that he has returned to Naughty Dog. Escayg left Naughty Dog in 2018 to join Crystal Dynamics as creative director and writer of Marvel’s Avengers. Escayg will once again serve as a creative director at Naughty Dog, no other details were revealed.

It’s likely that Escayg will be working on the new Uncharted project at Naughty Dog, the project was rumored to be handed over to Sony Interactive Entertainment Bend Studio after their unsuccessful pitch for a Days Gone sequel. Bend Studio has since been moved off that project and on to a new game.
