2K Sports has announced WWE 2K22 at Wrestlemania 37, a short gameplay teaser trailer featuring Rey Mysterio and Cesaro was also released. No other details were revealed. The WWE 2K series made the decision to skip a release in 2020 following the disastrous release of WWE 2K20, making it the first time since 1998 that a mainline WWE game was not released.
