Mac Walters, project director of BioWare, has confirmed that Mass Effect Legendary Edition has gone gold, signaling that the development is complete and that the game is ready to be printed on physical media. Mass Effect Legendary Edition is due out on the 14th of May 2021 for the PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One.

  1. Well, even CyberPunk went gold and that had a ton of bugs. Going gold doesn’t mean anything great nowadays. Sad to see such a prestigious title “Going gold” have zero meaning nowadays. Though I do hope they fix the ME3 bugs where a character would simply disappear in the middle of a cutscene. Though hilarious they ruined the immersion for me.
