Frogwares has announced that they will be publishing a PlayStation 5 version of The Sinking City on the 19th of February 2021. There will be no free upgrade available due to the PlayStation 4 version having a different publisher, Frogwares also revealed that the PS4 version has a different ID to that of the PS5 version due to an ongoing legal situation.
The PS5 version of the game will run at a native 4K and 60 fps, the game will also have significantly faster load times, improved visuals and DualSense support. The PS5 version will cost $49.99, a digital deluxe edition will also be available for $64.99. The digital deluxe version includes 2 story expansions, an in-game outfit, early access to a weapon and a skill point.
