Marek Tyminski, CEO of CI Games, has announced that total sales for the Sniper: Ghost Warrior series has surpassed 11 million copies worldwide. The next game in the series, Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts 2, is due out this year on the PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One.

Here’s what Tyminski had to say:

I am happy to break 11 million copies sold. The franchise is important to us. We have learned a lot from Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 and we successfully launched Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts, which just passed the 1 million units mark. The next installment in the franchise Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 will be released globally soon.
