Bungie has announced that Destiny 2 will add cross-platform play in 2021, no release window was revealed. Details on how cross-play would work also weren’t revealed but given that the game now runs at 60 fps on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series it would be an unfair advantage should cross-play also include play between last-gen consoles. Other concerns for cross-play would be PC, which has still doesn’t have great anti-cheat, the lack of keyboard and mouse support for the game on console and balancing PvP modes.
